summer learning journey practice

Today we have resisted the summer learning journey but it's just a run through. I am going to write about my favourite meal. My favourite meal is burgers with chips. I like it because It taste so amazing and the chips are so crispy, the burgers are full of different flavours, also it is nice with a touch of sauce. We buy the amazing burgers from the burger master place...... BURGER KING. I always get the same thing over and over again. I almost get it every day. I also like having it with my favourite drink mountain dew.

FIREWORKS SHOULD BE BAND!

This week we have been writing a persuasion. It is when you are trying to change someones mind. I have been writing about fireworks should be banned or not. I really enjoyed it because I wan't fireworks banned. 

Here is an example of banning fireworks.

I think that fireworks should be banned forever because it’s a waste of money.

The first reason is they are dangerous because it can burn houses and disturb neighbours, also it can go the wrong way, hit someone immediately and give an bad wound, also it can burn trees and then there will be no oxygen to breathe.

The second reason is little baby brother’s and sisters might be scared, also there ears might pop and they won’t be able to hear a single word. It also might be to loud because they are still little. They might cry, run get lost in the dark. Also the mum and dad will be distracted in the fireworks while their baby is cutting something or something else. The smoke might be to strong for their lungs, also it might not work anymore.

The third reason is about animals, they might be truly threatened, might think owner is being cruel and trying to hurt them. They will get hurt because of the sparkles like their getting sunburnt, they might also need to go to the vet to get checked.    

   

  

The discovery of the Mayan marvels

This week we have been learning how to write a description. It is when you describe a picture. I really enjoyed writing about it Because it got my brain working a lot.

The police is in a small cell, he has a comb in his pocket also he looks suspicious because his thick eyebrows is pointing in one direction, down. He also has dark sunglasses inside, and he has a big nose. He has different keys hanging on his pants to lock people in those little cells.

Mia is wearing a smooth oval thing attached to a rope which makes a necklace also she is wearing a vst. She looks worried about uncle Earl because he is missing somewhere that is why they are at the police station, they also want the police to help them but he does not look like he wants to help them, he is an grumpy man. Mia also looks shocked because her mouth is open and her eyes are open wide, also her eyebrows are pointing up.


Flynn is sitting at the table and his head is turned to the police, it looks like he is scared because of that awful policeman, that's why he is looking at the police. he could be thinking about uncle earl also if the police is going to help them. He is wearing a shiny watch on his left hand, maybe he is wearing it because he would need to check the time. He is wearing a half black t shirt, and a half white with black stripes it is a short sleeve t shirt. Flynn looks nervous because the police is looking at Mia and him with his eyebrows pointing in the direction which is down.

The Emerald Elf

Last week the emerald elf came to our class to give us amazing prizes. The prizes were only for the people that brang there holiday reading log. I got a with a certificate. When everyone got there certificate and shaked the Emerald elf is hand there was a humongous group around this case of thousand of toys. When it was my turn I got a yellow yo yo, then after everyone went and put there certificate away also toys we all kept on working.  

Critical thinking

This week we have been learning about our learning power, it is critical thinking. Critical thinking is when you think about a picture. It is important because if you don't think your not learning also because t will get your brain working.

My exsited cool holiday

This week we have been writing a recount on our holiday. A recount is something that has already happened in the past. In my recount I put awesome Adjectives in and coloured them in as well, Also similes, It makes the story more interesting for the reader.

                         Thursday


On Thursday I  DASHED out of the house to the movies with my amazing Mum and dad also my brothers, The movie we were going to watch was the funniest man in the world johnny English. Before we went to watch the movies we went to the kids Conner to colour, first I was shy then I was not because I was going to colour in  the amazing Christopher robin!!!. During the movie we ate snacks it sounded like a mouse biting on plastic. When we were watching my dad was sleeping he was snoring so loud like a lion That no one could hear!!. People were looking at us I was SO EMBARRASSED, so I turned into flash  by shaking him so fast and started to try and wake him up but my hands were tired and I went to sleep as well.


                     
                                

                              Friday 

On Friday I went to laser tag It was in new lynn. I was playing with my dad also brother, we were teams. We were my favorite colour blue. I got lost It was soooo SPOOKY  but then I finally found my dad and brother. We lost I was sad. Then we went to get tokens so we started to play and we won some tickets, we used them to buy amazing prizes, I wanted to get SLIME but I just got lame lollipops.







                           Sunday    

On Sunday we were driving around, I went with my family. We were driving around penrose. We were looking at houses with Tongan flags. There was lights on fences I was looking at it for to long so my eyes were about to BURST  out of my beautiful face.
 There were flags hanging everywhere it was like hanging pigs in the butcher It was like pig land. There was a lot of red because of the flags It was like blood. There were people doing designs I was imagining that it was the peaceful island of Tonga.

on term 3 Kevin came with the VR again but it was about walking in the tomb and exploring inside the tomb. I saw a picture of these gods that the Egypt people believe in, I also saw lot's of hieroglyphics. On the handles we hold, there is a circle that you hold and It will show this kind of line that leads to this other circle, If you let go of the circle 

on the handles then it will take you to the other circle. The other control makes a flash light. I just stayed in the same spot because I was too scared to go anywhere else. I was trying to touch the hieroglyphics and the rocks but it did not work. I was SUPER DIZZY AFTER!. Then after that my turn was done it was some one else is turn.
