THE IVY GOBBLER

Hello fellow viewers, we have been given an scenario and we are meant to finish it off by writing as creative as we can. Mine is called the Ivy Gobbler. HOPE YOU GUYS ENJOY!

 

I followed the beast, with my heart beating faster than ever. My eyes were starting to ache, as it was getting harder to see through the smoggy forest it was also getting harder to see the beast, one second it was there the other it was gone, it's like it vanished into thin air. 

I hopped off the horse and started looking through the whole forest, skimming and scamming the bushes and trees, my luck started to run out, just as I was going back to my horse it was gone with blood scattered everywhere on the floor. Running to the bush where I put my sword and arrow, I picked it up and hid, I was right, the beast was hiding in a poison ivy bush for some reason it wasn’t affecting it, ITS THE IVY GOBBLER!. The ivy gobbler is a beast that was long forgotten by the people of rome, The legend says that the ivy gobbler can only survive with ivy in its system if not it can rot to death, so they destroyed all of the poison ivy bushes,so I get up and fire my arrows at the bush, as I was firing in different directions of the bush I detected a movement, it smirked at me,then suddenly it ran away. 

As I was walking out of the forest I said to myself I will never forget its big round face, flat oval eyes and long but skinny arms, and also how the ivy didn’t affect it, I guess it will remain a true mystery.

On Wednesday we had karate, they taught us what to say just in case we get kidnap, the things that they told us to say was, don’t touch me but we had to shout it so loud so someone can hear us, they also told us to pretend that there was a fire so someone can come and help us get away, or they can call the ambulance. You can also shout out STRANGER DANGER! We also got taught some amazing defence moves and attack moves. It was short but it was still fun.

My holidays

First Week Of My Holiday

During the holidays I mostly stayed home, but I also went to sleep over at my cousins house. There was some food for us to eat, It was delicious, we bought pizza and my aunty bought Burger King, there were about 11 of us eating. After that all we did was watch a movie, it was called (The lost world of dinosaurs) my cousin picked the movie it was actually quite awesome it looked boring at the beginning but it was getting cooler.  It was around 11 pm when my dad did a sneaky trick! to my baby brother, he told my baby brother that he was going to the shops and my baby brother really wanted to go. My dad actually was going home with him because my little brother is not old enough to sleep over yet. I felt so sad for him because I could imagine him crying. After the movie finished, we started playing different kinds of games. My cousin said to do all nighters, But slept earlier than both of them, my cousin slept at 4 something because he was up playing games and my big brother slept at 3 something and I slept at 2:50 something.

 We also had a umu and  it was so good, we had it in the  backyard, I had to wash and hold the meat so my grandpa could cut the meat that we were going to eat. When it was done everyone could eat straight away because we were going to go to my Aunty’s house to give them some of the food that we made. 

Second Week Of My Holiday

On saturday me my dad, and also my big brother, baby brother, also me went to drop of my mum to the emergency room at the hospital because there was something wrong with my mum's back.  I felt sad for her because it looks like it is so so bad, my mum asked if anyone could go with her inside, I was about to say “ me “ but then my big brother/ hola said “ me “, before I did, so he got to go with her.  After they went I remembered that we brought some yummy snacks, so me and my little brother eat the snacks, we also eat some yogurt that I took from the fridge, as we were eating some snacks my dad was trying to find a parking so we can go a see our mum:(, but he could not find any parking so we just went for a drive, as we were driving our dad showed us the place that he goes to for work, he actually showed us both of the places that he works at.  Soon after my mum called my dad and told us to go because it was going to take long so my dad, me and my baby brother ended up going to my cousins house. 

 As we got there it was only three of our cousins over there, there is usually four of them but I think my other cousin already went to his house at huntly.  We were there for a while just playing games on the ps4. Later on my cousin got some money for his mum or dad I don’t know but he got some money from somewhere to buy pizza, I think they love pizza cause almost every time we go to there house they say if we wan’t pizza.  I only ate a little bit because I had some of the blue packet of noodles. I had about two pizzas then my mum called and said that they were done. So we went, I had to turn off their tv because my brother would not come, we also took some pizza for my mum and my big brother     

On the last week of the holidays I stayed home the wholentire week, the fun thing that happened is that on sunday/the last day of the holidays, me and my baby and big brother were doing a challenge, we had to see who’s airplane could go the furthest. We could made multiple airplanes, they both beat me by miles. I won 5 rounds, my baby brother won about 11 rounds and my big brother won like 17 or 18 rounds. 

That was my cool, sad and kind of boring Holiday hope u enjoyed reading it.

My infomation about Tane Mahuta

Hello guys I am going to show you my Infomation report about Tane Mahuta hope you enjoy it. :)

 Tane Mahuta is a god, he is the god the forest. Tane Mahuta is Papatuanuku and Ranginui’s son, he is the one who forced them apart, if he didn’t do that we would have no light.  Now when it rains it’s ranginui’s tears falling onto papatuanuku and her wounds. Her blood is the red ochre clay of earth. Some people say that when it is foggy it is papatuanuku tears.  It is a Kauri tree, it is the largest living kauri tree in the world. All the living creatures in forest is known as Tane Mahutas children. The trunk grith is 13.77m, the trunk height is 17.68m and The total height of the tree is 51.2m. The location where the tree takes place in is waipoua forest.

Sushi bar! :)

Hello guys I am going to post another thing on my blog, I wrote about the sushi bar we had this our second time having a sushi bar. hope you enjoy. :)




On Wednesday we had a  sushi bar to raise money for the year sixes for a trip but no one knows what the trip is yet. They were also selling ice tea, there was also two different kind of flavours for the ice, lemon, and peach.  For two pieces of sushi the costs are $1 dollar, the ice tea is one dollar as well.  I really enjoyed the sushi especially the lemon flavoured ice tea. hello guys it's me Leipua and this is my holiday highlights. i hope you guys like it and enjoy it. 

HOLIDAY HIGHLIGHTS

My holiday highlights were getting to spend amazing time with my loving family, I also got to go and sleep over at my aunt's house and spend time with my uncle who has cancer, During that time it was my baby brothers birthday, he’s a bit annoying but I still love him, he was turning four years old, we went on a fairy for his birthday, we also went to the beach. After that we went to the movies and watched shazam. 

It was a interesting movie to watch, It was also terrifying to watch because there was enormous hungry demons in the movie. By the time we got home my little brother asked me if he can go on the addicting ps4 (fortnite), I told him to tell my dad or mum, he asked my mum, she would usually say no but she said yes because it was his amazing wonderful birthday. He had the time of his life. After That we arrived at my aunt's house roundabout 7:38 o'clock we were praying for my uncle because he has cancer, after all of that happen we had a big feed, the food we ate was pig and pizza, also takeaway. After we ate me and my brother also cousins played hide and seek outside in the dark is was so spooky I was hiding behind this old car, I felt like I was in the haunted goosebumps movie. I was the second person that got found, my brother was the first one who got found. Me and my brothers were the seekers because they were going to hide inside the house because it has better spot’s. When we were about to go and hunt them down like angry hunters our mum told us were going, so we went to tell them that we were going home, before we went home we got some frozen cokes.

My lowlights were not getting to eat my enormous eminem's easter egg because when I went to sleep over at my aunt's house, while I was gone my brother’s took my eminem's easter egg out of the fridge and ate it, there was only a little bit the size of a blue and white striped pen. I was sad but they buyed me another one which made me feel way more better than before. I still gave them some to eat because I felt sad for them, because they might have felt like it wasn't fair.  
 

Yes I am back, I will be retelling the story of how the north Island and the south Island, HOPE YOU ENJOY. (:

Long long ago the sky father ranginui and the earth mother were stuck together, there son tane mahuta pushed ranginui apart from the earth mother leaving the earth mother below and the sky father above. Maui was out fishing with his brothers. Later on he told them to stop paddling, maui took out his fish hook that he made from his grandmother  jaw bone.Then he threw it into the water letting it go deep down, Maui was screaming because he caught a big fish. The fish was the north Island.

Auraki and his brothers were going to there earthmother papatuanuku. While they were going lightning struck, the waka got stuck on a reif. They all tried to stay alive by climbing on to the boat because it was cracked. The cold south wind froze them, turning them to stone.so the great land was born the waka became the north Island. The brothers became great big mountains, auraki the oldest became the tallest mountain. The north island and the south island made new zealand.

My report is about Tom Holland and how he became famous and what his life was before he was famous.

The thing that made Tom Holland famous is that he always works hard and is a good actor/dancer. 

Thomas Stanley Holland was born on the 1st of June 1996 in London, Thomas also has three brothers.

I think the way Thomas Stanley Holland got interested in acting was because he was a dancer and was quite familiar  with acting.

When Thomas Stanley Holland was a child he was a dancer.  He went to Britain school and joined the ninety feet dance class as well.

Tom Holland's life now is amazing he is an actor, and dancer, he has acted in Spider man: Homecoming, The Avengers: End Game, Spies In Disguise, he is on different movies to, but he is well known as the actor for spider man.

Just to remind you that my report was all about Tom Holland and how he became an actor.  Also how his life was way before he became famous.

My creation story

Hello guys I am going to be showing you my creation story, hope you enjoy :)

HOW THE WORLD was made Chapter 1- how the world was made It all began when these 3 friends were born, these friends names are, leox, michal, and danh, they were all neighbors, as they grew up they got to know each other. As they got older their planet was in danger because a demon put a spell on their planet. The spell makes their planet grow smaller everyday. Their planet will disappear in 36 days. 


Chapter 2- our powers

 Their plan is to create this position called terson x, it is mixed with poison and water. Leox calls out”1..2..3 now!, Leox waves his wound and says sprayer, and michal says airsion, while dan just blows liquid poison. The position grows on anything it gets spilled on, even yourself. They just need one potion called ballast, it can create a planet. But first Leox put the potion inside his pocket to keep it safe. Now there on a journey to the planet of Azarath.

 Chapter- 3 The journey They used their powers to go to the planet of Azarath. It takes them about four weeks to get over there. While they were running around looking for the ballast potion, on the other hand one of the demons was flying over the whole town going to get a snack, he was also ordered to look for any intruders, while he was flying around he saw leox, danh, and michal. The demon quickly flew back to the tower were the demon of Azarath stays. yourself. They just need one potion called ballast, it can create a planet. But first Leox put the potion inside his pocket to keep it safe. Now there on a journey to the planet of Azarath.

Leox and them did not know what was coming their way. It turned dark so fast that they could barely see anything, They found some snacks in a box in the middle of nowhere. A few hours later the demon of azarath and her demons came and attacked them, they fought for weeks, they finally defeated them and they killed the demon of Azarath with a tiny bit of terson x, when all of them were dead then Danh went and secretly took the ballast potion and they went and created the planet, the sad thing was that they could not use their powers anymore, they lived happily ever after, THE END

KAURI CAFE/FUN RAISING

On Wednesday, we set up a cafe inside the hall. Only five people from our class were allowed to go and help out with making the milkshakes and setting up the cafe. When we were eating our morning tea then our teacher told us we can go and get something from the cafe inside the hall, I Took two donut’s and had one chocolate milkshake, It was insanely delicious, the first donut I took a bite out of was the one with sprinkles on it, the second donut I took a bite out of had just chocolate on it. 

     

My sushi bar/fun raising

on Wednesday, we were making some sushi to raise some money for the camp. We could only put the ingredients inside, it was chicken and tuna with carrot and cucumber, when we  finished rolling up the sushi then ms tokuma and ms talaipa will cut the sushi up. People were working while waiting to have a turn making the delicious circled sushi. When the bell rang then thousands of people came rushing in, it sounded like there were infinity hungry elephants in the classroom. They had to go to the people that was going to sort out the money, then the money people will give them a paper that will say how many sushi the person needs to get to eat. We had to get our sushi last. When everyone was gone then we got some sushi then we went to have our wonderful morning tea time and get some fresh air.

This week we have been solving a word search about all of Santa's reindeer's. I found it interesting because I like doing word search's and I like Santa's reindeer's.

Today we have been doing a word search about the names of Santa's reindeers. I solved the words by looking for the first two letters in the names of the reindeer, also I solved it by looking up and down on the words in line and side to side. I also looked for the last letter of the reindeer’s name, if that didn’t work then I would look for the letter in the middle and look for the letters on the side of the letter. Some of the words were tricky.

This week we have been reading a legend about Maui and how he fished up the NORTH ISLAND! With his magic hook from his ancestor Murirangawhenua. Maui’s brothers didn’t let him go fishing with him  because they said he was skinny. One day Maui hid himself in the canoe that his brother’s were going to fish in. the next day when Maui’s brothers where in the sea Maui jumped up from where he was hiding, Maui’s brothers were saying “ what are you doing here“, Maui said he hid in the boat because he wanted to fish with them. After that maui asked for bait but they didn’t give some bait so he just punched his nose and used the blood for bait, he put the blood on to his magic fish hook. When Maui threw his magic fish hook into the water then something pulled hard, The canoe was tilting, Maui’s brothers were holding tight to the side of the canoe, Maui was pulling with all the power inside of him. Maui finally pulled up the north Island, Maui told his brothers that he was going to get the rest of the people, when Maui was gone then his brothers started cutting when they were chopping they chopped mountains.

This week we have been writing a procedural. It is about how to get ready for Christmas Eve. I found it interesting because I used some bossy words, also I like Christmas Eve.

What to do: Make cookies and milk for Santa, carrot’s for the reindeer’s, need family fest, christmas cake.

You need: Christmas lights, Christmas tree, christmas decorations, Candy cane, and a star.

1: Make sure your cookies are not burnt because santa will find the cookies disgusting.

2: make sure that the milk is nice and cold, also check if it is EXPIRED! Also OLD!. 

3: wash the carrot for the reindeer.

4: make sure the food for the family feast is not over cooked or under cooked.

5: make sure that the christmas cake is not to sweet.  

6: make sure your christmas lights are working.

7: make sure your christmas tree is put up properly.

8: make sure your christmas decorations are not broken.

9: make sure your candy canes are good to eat and also make sure it is not old.

10: Have a star that is big enough for the christmas tree.

This week we have been writing a persuasion about a reindeer. I found it interesting because we had to write if the reindeer needs food or not.

Reindeer's should get food  because they need some energy to carry Santa clause everywhere.

The first reason reindeer's should have food is they work a lot, carry Santa and he is heavy and the presents are extra weight. They work to give presents to people. When they carry Santa in the sleigh he’s going to get more heavy because he’s going to keep on eating cookies and drinking milk. 

The second reason is them getting hungry because they get tired from carrying Santa clause from house to house to house. They get hungry for their favourite food…….CARROT. 


The third reason is what Santa clause gets’ Santa clause gets some food for himself to eat, Also he should share it with the reindeer because they work a lot.

THERE’S BREAKING NEWS ABOUT SANTA IN NEW ZEALAND!! And it is about santa’s reindeer wanting some carrots to eat, IT’S NOT FAKE BECAUSE IT’S BREAKING NEWS. Santa and his reindeer were going around in houses to put the amazing presents under the christmas trees. Santa’s reindeer was hungry for some carrot’s, he wasn't talking like a human but santa knew that he wanted some carrot’s because that’s his reindeer. Santa kept on going to different houses to give different present’s, one of the houses he went in and ate a kind of donut. Santa must be so fat because he eats a lot of cookies and other stuff. When they were going around santa saw McDonalds so he went inside and asked them if he could get a bag of carrot’s, they said yes. When santa came with the bag of carrot’s then he said merry Christmas.

This week we have been writing about a story. Our teacher was reading it to us first then we had to write about it. I found it interesting because know one found El Dorado and I wanted to write about it.

The story of, the day I’ll never forget

Once upon a time I was walking through the whole city of El dorado and looking if they were ok, the kids were rushing to their parents and told them” The golden man”, the parents came out of their houses and started cheering. As I was going back to my golden kingdom. It was dark, me and my soldiers heard people talking, we knew it was the spanish people, I sent two warriors to see what are they doing, as they came back they told me they were making a plan to hurt us. After they told me that then I told them to go tell my people to come and gather in my golden kingdom, all of the people were In the golden kingdom, I told my warriors to make a trap, my warriors showed me the trap it was good enough, when the spanish people entered it was just two men, I was up on a tree covered in green dust so I was camouflage, when they took a few more steps I quickly threw the trap on them, then I got down with my warriors and said” where's the rest of you” they said the rest is coming back the next day, we made them disappear into the deep jungle. In the morning I went to get some food with my warriors for the whole entire city, when we came back with the food, the whole city came and ate, The spanish people didn’t come that day,so at night I went to kill a big jaguar as I came back, I used the jaguar skin for a nice blanket, days passed and they still did not come to attack, one day my soldiers went to get water, They came Running back  with scratches everywhere,Then said to me” The spanish people are back” as we were still talking we heard footsteps outside of my golden kingdom. It was getting closer and closer, when they it was just one person coming to check what's happening in the city. When he went back I told all of my toughest warriors to get ready for war, when the warriors lined up the british heard there footsteps and attacked my warriors. The war went on for a long time. The war ended at midnight, WE WON THE WAR , only 18 of my warriors died but all of the british people died. The next day we had a big party. Then the rest of the days were normal.
