The place where living on

The place were living on

We have been told to find three of our favourite facts about new Zealand,

Fact 1: The sky tower is 328 meters high and it is the tallest building  in the Southern hemisphere.

Fact 2: In new Zealand there is not one hundred percent of forest it is only 30 percent of forest.

Fact 3: Dairy farmers make 100 kg's of butter and 65 kg's of cheese each year.

  1. Kia ora Leipua,

Congratulations on completing your very first activity from the Summer Learning Journey. I am so excited to see some students from May Road kick starting their journey so early. This is incredible. We have about 80 students already participating in the programme this year. Isn't that incredible. Miss Tokuma and I will be busy commenting on everyone's posts over the summer.

I was amazed to read that New Zealand dairy farmers produce enough butter for everyone in New Zealand to have 100 kilograms each. That means they produce over 400 million kilograms of butter every year. Unfortunately, this butter does not stay in New Zealand to be sold. Do you know where all this butter gets shipped to? If you do not, maybe you could do additional research and reply to my comment with your answer.

It is great to see that you put the facts in your own words before posting. Maybe next time you could include a photo to spruce up your post.

I am looking forward to reading more great posts from you.

    Kindest regards,
    Megan :)
